Lotus Defence Karate-Do is a community karate club formed with the purpose of providing the local people with good quality karate tuition at affordable prices. The club is run on a non-profit making basis which means that all funds raised through class fees are ploughed back into the club and used for the benefit of the students with regards to providing any necessary equipment, assistance with entry fees for tournaments, introduction classes for members of the community and much more.

In order to benefit the students that participate in our classes, the karate that is taught is given a practical element that will help the students of all ages understand and apply techniques to realistic situations. We provide a unique blend of both traditional karate and realistic self defence techniques which are relevant to todays society.
